This Privacy Policy explains how ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SYSTEMS CONSULTING, INC. and EVA GREEN POWER (collectively referred to as “we”) collect and use your personal and energy data. This Policy also describes how we store and secure your data.

1. Information We Collect & How We Use It

The information we collect can be categorized as either manually entered or automatically collected.

• Manually entered information includes business name, contact name, phone number and email address. This information may be entered by you or by one of our employees.
• Automatically collected information includes logging information collected by our server when you visit the website (IP address, browser type, date and time of visit) and information we receive from your utility. Logging information is not associated with your other information and is only used for monitoring and maintaining our systems. The information we receive from your utility is limited to the data that you specifically authorize.

We use your information to provide a variety of services to you:

• Distributed generation, including solar PV, system performance monitoring.
• Energy efficiency project monitoring and verification (M&V)
• Energy auditing
• Energy efficiency and distributed generated system recommendations

2. Information Disclosure

Except as required to comply with a law, regulation, or legal process, we do not disclose your information to any third party without your express consent.

3. Data Storage and Security

We use cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services to store and process your information. All data is encrypted in rest and in transit. We also undergo annual SOC 2 Type II audits.

4. Tracking & Cookies

The only required cookies are used for authentication of internal employees. While the website may set session cookies for any website visitor, these may be blocked or deleted without affecting website functionality.

5. Third Party Marketing

We do not provide your information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent.

6. Changes to this Policy

This Policy is subject to revision without advance notice. If we make any changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you via email and/or post the modification on the website.
